It's common knowledge that short films rarely make money. They lead to jobs. Get you noticed. And provide training and experience. But does anyone know of any profitable market for short films?

I'd actually be surprised. One reason I ask is funding. Investors. Most people won't give you sh*t if they don't get anything back.

If only it were like the good ol' days. When there was one or two short films before the feature. Of course tickets prices would go up even higher. Is that possible?

    Europe--Go to Europe.

There is a decent market there. I have shot a few shorts that met with decent reviews and I have a small feature coming up there in Germany(shooting in August).

    Good Luck
